I grew up in Nebraska but have lived and traveled all over the USA. With a Masters’ Degree in Speech and a Doctorate in Communication, it is no wonder I’m interested in how people talk to each other. I have two cozy mystery series. My Pamela Barnes mysteries follow the exploits of a psychology/linguistics professor at a small southern university as she uses her knowledge of sound and acoustics to solve murders. My Essie Cobb Senior Sleuth mysteries are focused on a ninety-year old lady in a retirement home and her gal pals who are very nosy and like to stick those noses in lots of places where they don’t belong. There are at the moment five books in each series but I intend to write more when I have time.
